Senior Balance Class

Senior Balance Class: Thursday's 10:30-11:30a


This class will focus on fall prevention with exercises to improve balance using foam pads, light weights, stability balls and resistance bands. Specific core strengthening exercises will also be integrated.

Senior Yoga: Monday's 10:30-11:30a
A unique yoga style that adapts yoga positions and poses through creative use of a chair.  The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of the body.  Poses are done seated on the chair or the chair is used for support during standing poses, forward and backward bends, side extensions, balancing, and leg and arm stretches.  Chair Yoga is suitable for all fitness levels and physical conditions.

Sit & B Fit: Tuesday's 10:30-11:30a


Sitting and standing using either a chair or a ball, participants in this class will use light weights and resistance tubing to improve muscle tone and build strength for everyday activities.

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of healthful relaxation of both body and mind. Tai Chi is safe for people of all ages and fitness levels. Our instructor teaches a type of Tai Chi called Yang Style which emphasizes a controlled breathing technique and body movement.
