Boot Camp 
Boot Camp is a results-driven physical conditioning program designed to bring out the athlete in everyone. Workouts include cardiovascular, speed and agility, endurance, partner resistance, strength training and balance. Boot Camp is for all fitness levels. The instructors keep the workouts fun and safe, while offering a challenge to all participants. Whether you workout daily or haven’t broken a sweat since high school, this class is for you.
The Boot Camp classes at Tensile Strength Studio are held on our 90,000 square foot indoor turf field and 5,000 square foot Training Center equipped with state-of-the-art sports performance equipment.   Utilizing these two spaces keeps the workouts fresh and engaging, with everyone moving toward their individual fitness goals.

Indoor Cycling
Indoor Cycling or “Spin” is a heart rate based group exercise class held on specialized stationary bikes.  It is an excellent form of aerobic activity, with a typical class participant burning between 400 – 600 calories in an hour.  Indoor cycling is beneficial in strengthening the muscles of the lower body, toning the hamstrings, quadriceps, calves and gluteus. 
Our intimate studio setting keeps participants engaged and focused on their fitness goals. Everyone sees immediate improvement in their fitness levels, regardless of where they start. The instructors are adept at tailoring workouts so individual goals can be met, while simultaneously creating a fun, energetic group experience.

Kickboxing
Kickboxing is a phenomenal interval class that blends athletic drills with martial arts in a series of moves will tone your upper and lower body, improve core stability and give you an unbelievable cardio workout. You can burn as many as 500 calories in a one-hour class and achieve a total body workout.  Our instructors keep the class safe and challenging, focusing on form and proper muscle recruitment.  Classes are tailored to the individual, allowing for safe and effective progressions of the exercises.

Power Barre 
Power Barre is an adult ballet barre class. The body is worked as both a coordinated whole and in isolated muscle groups, creating a truly efficient and effective workout. The class focuses on primarily on the pelvic and core musculature to improve body alignment and facilitate good posture.  The format includes a series of lower body exercises at the ballet barre, core exercises on the mat, and resistance band work for the upper extremities.  No prior dance experience necessary.

Pure Cardio
Pure Cardio is a class focused on cardio training.  The format is guaranteed to keep your heart pumping and your fat burning!  Careful attention is paid to heart rate to insure an effective workout.  Pure Cardio meets on the turf field for drills and will also include some indoor cycling as well as outdoor training as the weather permits.

Suspension Training
Suspension Training is a revolutionary method of leveraged body weight exercise that builds power, strength and stamina as well as increases flexibility and balance. The straps create an unstable workout environment, requiring stabilization by the core musculature while working the extremities. Using specially designed straps that hang from overhead, hundreds of different “suspended” exercises are performed.

Total Body Tone 
Total Body Tone is a small group weight training session with specific focus on form and proper muscle recruitment. All the major muscle groups are targeted through a series of weight based and callisthenic exercises.  Trainers provide safe and detailed instruction so you learn proper lifting techniques and achieve maximum results.  Free weights, cables, resistance bands, Power Plates, and balance training tools are all utilized to keep the workouts fresh and invigorating.

Yoga
Yoga is an ancient discipline uniting the mind, body and spirit.  It is an important part of any fitness regimen.  Yoga incorporates deep breathing, balance and meditation to induce a sense of well-being and vital energy.  Balance is achieved by developing strength and flexibility through a series of poses or “asanas.”  Poses can be done in quick succession, creating heat in the body or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of each pose.  The poses are a constant, but the approach to them varies depending upon the instructor. 


The Yoga classes at Tensile Strength Studio emphasize poses that are safe but challenging, creating an environment where the mind and body can work in harmony.  Our instructors have many years of training.  Each one draws upon a diverse array of styles to bring a unique and wonderful experience to the class participants.

Zumba
ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
