Lake Barrington Field House Gives Back to the Community

The Lake Barrington Field House gives back to our community throughout the year in may ways.  Below are a few examples and illustrations of how we support our community by being a good neighbor:

FREE USAGE OF OUR WALKING TRACK:

 Come join those who like to walk.  We have walking clubs which meet in the morning and others at different times throughout the day or evening.  As long as the facility is open you may walk our track for free. 

FREE SENIOR CITIZENS EXERCISE CLASSES:

We currently offer (4) Free Senior Fitness Exercise Classes.  Senior Yoga, Sit & B Fit, Parkinsons Exercises, Tai Chi and Balance Fitness.  Each class is offered at 10:30 am Monday thru Friday.  We have over (100) Seniors who are currently participating in this program so come on over and meet some new friends.

STUDENT COUNCIL LEADERSHIP DAYS:

Over the past (3) years we have made our facility available to the Barrington High School Student Council to host their Leadership Day here at the Lake Barrington Field House. 

BARRINGTON AREA RELAY FOR LIFE EVENT:

The Lake Barrington Field House donated our facility to help raise over $80,000 for the Barrington Area Relay for Life Event.  

HOPE 4 BRIDGET READ A THON EVENT:

The Lake Barrington Field house donated our facility to help raise over $20,000 for a young community member fighting against Batten Disease. 

CUPCAKES FOR COURAGE:

During our most recent event, the Showcase Products Free Home Show - we provided an exterior parking space for the Cupcakes for Courage vehicle.  They sold out of their inventory with one day of being on site.
