The Field House Management Corporation is committed to providing a safe, clean and fun environment for all participants and guests. By doing so, patrons are required to act appropriately and are to be respectful of others at all times when using Lake Barrington Field House facilities.
Persons using Lake Barrington Field House Facilities are expected to behave in a mature and responsible manner. The Lake Barrington Field House Code of Conduct does not permit language or any action that may hurt or frighten another person or that falls below a generally accepted standard of conduct. Directions issued by Field House staff must be followed at all times.
The following actions are prohibited at the Lake Barrington Field House:
- Harassment or intimidation using words, gestures, body language or menacing behavior
- Physical contact with another individual or staff member in an angry, violent or threatening manner
- Any demonstration of sexual activity or sexual suggestiveness
- Carrying or concealing weapons or devices that may be used as a weapon
- Use or possession of illegal chemicals or alcohol on Lake Barrington Field House property.
- Coolers are not allowed. No glass bottles, Random spot checks of patron’s bags will be made
- Abuse of Field House equipment, supplies and property
- Patrons are responsible for the cost of any damages resulting from disorderly conduct or misuse of equipment.
- Theft of services.
- Smoking and loitering inside or outside Lake Barrington Field House facilities/grounds
- Continuous poor sportsmanship or overaggressive competitiveness from players or spectators
- Any other unacceptable behavior including inappropriate dress
- Outside food is not permitted in the Barrington Field House
- Refreshments are available at the concession area and eating is restricted to the concession area
- No metal spikes
- Only non-marking athletic shoes are permitted. Sandals and street shoes are not allowed
- Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times
- No person shall use the turf field or the courts for any activity other than its intended purposes, unless approved by the Field House staff
- Patrons are responsible for the cost of any damages resulting from disorderly conduct or misuse of equipment, and removal of equipment
- Children age 8 years and under must be under constant supervision of a person age 16 years or older. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children under 10 years at all times while in the Field House facility. Your assistance in following this very important child supervision and safety policy is greatly appreciated. Those that cannot follow this policy will be asked to leave the Field House.
Field House staff is eager to be of assistance. Guests and participants should not hesitate to notify staff when assistance is needed.
Any violation of these guidelines may result in: a verbal warning, a written warning, and immediate removal from the facility, or suspension from Field House property. The Lake Barrington Field House will investigate all reported incidents on a case-by-case basis.
